How to install SQL Server 2019 on Debian 10 and connect from SQL Server Management studio

Installation guidance for SQL Server on Linux.
In this video we are going to see how to install microsoft sql server 2019 on Debian 10 Buster.
Make sure that you have Internet connection to download the dependent debian packages from repositories which is used by sql server 2019
Important Note: Ubuntu 16.04 packages are 100% compatible with Debian 10 buster. So we used ubuntu 16.04 binaries. Debian 10 does not have packages from microsoft.

Download SQL Server 2019, ODBC drivers, Unix ODBC Drivers,MS-SQL Tools,MSSQL-CLI from below links.

Install sqlcmd and bcp the SQL Server command-line tools on Linux
The mssql-tools package contains:

sqlcmd: Command-line query utility.
bcp: Bulk import-export utility.

We will be installing SQL Server 2019 Developer Edition on this video, which is full featured and free to use for development.
