One more tip : Layering your outfit is the most important thing in dti. Once you learn on how to layer and colour it properly you’d definitely catch everyone’s attention to your outfit. If you can’t do it or you’re bad at it, you should go to free play and practice more often in your outfits. Or take inspiration from people like her. It really helps. Even if you’re confident enough that it slays, always make sure to learn hacks, combos, tips from other top models.

Another tip that I would like to add is to stop using colors that are way too oversaturated and vibrant (unless the theme calls for that). This is very noticeable in color themes like Red and Blue. It makes your outfit an eyesore. Instead, go for more realistic colors that are a bit darker and slightly more muted.

tip: for certain categories be people that MOST people recognize. ex: when that category is “cowboy” usually I dress up as woody from toy story and I usually place top 3 because people recognize that character and they are more likely to vote higher.
