Wow! That's pretty awesome! Mustangs have always meant so much to me. My friend's father passed away, and he owned a Shelby GT500 from between '05 and '09. The car was a daily driver, black with matte black stripes, SVT Package, shaker audio etc. A beauty. They had the Shelby detailed, and it led the hearse to the church for the funeral. It just showed me how much of a persona the car has. The Shelby just represented itself as more than a car, but a part of a family. I love mustang! Congrats man!

Of course the Corvette would win. It is a Sports car while the Mustang is a Pony/Muscle car. Even if the Mustang was modified, the Corvette would win due to it's weight and aerodynamic body. So Chevy-philiacs, don't use this video to say "Mustangs suck." They are great cars. To Prideful Ford owners, don't complain that the Mustang would win if it had a better driver or it needed more horsepower.

The top speed on a speedometer has no meaning. It doesn't prevent you from going over that speed. I did 161 in this car GPS verified with 4.10 gears and I had 3.43 gears in it in this video so the car would've been capable of over 170 easily. Thanks for watching.

They have been making these light weight cast since the 60's. It gave you the lightness of aluminum and the durability of Iron. These engines were used in every venue of racing and won. Turned the cobra into a legend that has set every bench mark of performance that every manufacturer uses to this day. The fact that the old Chevy small block could not achieve any of these things just comes to only prove that your present day LS1 is a Ford engine. its 3 engines. Mod, 351winsdor, 427high riser.

Frank by far one of the most alarming videos ever to be on YouTube is "21psi turbo supra vs 12 psi trans am ws6. Most would agree a Supra on 21psi is a VERY fast car yet this black T/A blows it off the freakin road. Even I was stunned. The T/A most likely had a 427 twin turbo set up which yields spirited performance however for those who need more GM will have an LSX block available soon that can be punched out to 550ci. Face it Fords are fast but they can be beat by a chevy on occasion.

The Ford vs Chevy vids have by far the most entertaining comment sections.:D I'm a Chevy(c6 owner) and mopar(old school 72 360 duster and srt8 300) guy but the gt500's and new 5, 0's are great cars for the money. Either one would look great in my garage.

And xjetao, cam swap is definitely not a bolt-on, but an internal mod since it isn't bolted-on the motor. It is installed inside the block just like doing a forged bottom end is. Boltons are intake manifold, headers, catback, cai, tb .

Son, youre silly. Remember the pics I linked of my mechanic friend who was rebuilding MT82s for his customers?
I guess not, so let me remind you. The MT82 shifting forks are steel! :)
Also, Mustang GT, Boss, and GT500 all have the Torsen option.
Torsen T2 gets 6 (SIX baby! Yeah!) carrier pinions, and they are the superior worm pinions that are arranged parallel to the axle shafts.

I didn't know that about the Grand Sports. I'm glad you said that because I'm thinking of purchasing a 2005 or 06 C6. I can't afford a Z06 but maybe I can pinch enough pennies to spring for a grand sport. And I agree, who could complain about 405 horses. Especially with the good looks of a Vette.
