How to Disconnect 'Quick Connect' Faucet Fittings

Common faucet fittings (e.g. by Delta, Danze, and others), are a snap to install, but cannot be removed by releasing the four tabs. Use the following technique to properly disconnect the quick connect fittings.

1) Press up firmly on the hose
2) Press down on the top piece
3) Pull the hose down

Excellent video! Goes right to the point with no babbling before or after. AND showed me that what I have is NOT a quick connect fitting which explains the problems I am having trying to install a new spray nozzle with hose. I called the faucet company and was told it is a quick connect fitting, but looking at this video, clearly it's not. Thank you!
