Kaiba letting loose one of his most iconic card combos, Shrink & Crush Card!

This card has the following Effect:

Tribute 1 DARK monster with 1000 or less ATK; your opponent takes no damage until the end of the next turn after this card resolves, also, you look at your opponent's hand and all monsters they control, and if you do, destroy the monsters among them with 1500 or more ATK, then your opponent can destroy up to 3 monsters with 1500 or more ATK in their Deck.

I always love the responding "oh yes" to every time someone says "oh no". And we all know here that Yugi doesn't mean that Joey deserves to lose his best monsters, but the fact that it is already happening.

To think this happened at the beginning of the duel, and Joey still gave Kaiba a hard time, dropping his life points down to 700 and almost beating him with Thousand Dragon.

Its funny how Kaiba can basically defeat anyone with Crush Card but he often tries other strategies....He don't even need god cards when you basically have strongest vanilla and crush card in your deck

Despite Joey losing his best monsters due to Kaiba's crush card, he still dueled as well as he could with his weaker monsters during the Battle For the Bronze arc. But people sometimes make cracks about having weak monsters in your deck. They can still benefit, especially some with good effects.

Joey stumbled into this trap like a dope, but credit where it's due, he did his best and gave Kaiba some actual trouble for the rest of the duel afterward.

With joey having low cards like battle warrior, he could have used grave robber and leveled the playing field if this wasn’t a scripted show lol

Tragic irony is Joey had the perfect card to shut that trick down with Jinzo, if he'd managed to summon him first, BOOM, Kaiba's precious combo is worthless.

I recommend this wouldn't have occurred if Joey's Jinzo was present on this field somehow. Plus ironically, it's a rare occasion where Jinzo got wrecked by a Trap Card!

Imagine if Kaiba went up against a duelist and tried to use his crush card combo on em only realizes the duelist is using a Skull Servant deck.

Crush Card Virus must've had a pretty drastic errata between Duelist Kingdom and Battle City. In Duelist Kingdom, CCV didn't automatically force the opponent to send all 1500+ monster from the deck to the GY, the affected player didn't even have to send drawn cards to the GY like in the OCG/TCG .

There was a flaw with the Crush Card because Joey was still able to summon his Thousand Dragon, which has 2400 attack points. Unless it just affects the main deck and not the extra deck.

Kaiba: this duel is over. I summon my blue eyes to attack your face down
Joey: not so fast, i activate monster reborn to retrieve the monster i destroyed last turn, lower its attack and then activate grave robber and take your crush card virus. Since all i have are monsters with 1000 attack or lower. My fiend monster fits the bill. Now you and i are in the same boat.
