I feel like Shin Ryu is the most complete version of Ryu we have seen. Animation wise, it's consistent and high quality, and the move set seem natural to what a refined and more well trained Ryu would have in an official sense. The only thing I would add to make it better is that move that one of the Evil Ryu versions in Mugen has, which is that standing rapid punch move reminiscent of Hokuto no Ken or JoJo.

In SF6, it makes no sense to not give Ryu a lot of these moves, like that Gouken/Akuma style levitation shift, air fireballs, descending air kick, etc.

Man, the greatest rivalry of the history of Street Fighter! happens here on MugenKU! It was because of the 'Ryu v Sagat' was the very bout that launched the SF franchise into it worldly prominence. It's too bad Mugen is a fighting game 'Mod' and would never be sanctioned on EVO competition. Man, think of the possibilities and the crowds it would gain.

Yanno, I'd love to see an evolved Sagat in story. This is a guy who went from basically using rage and hatred as his fuel (almost like Satsui no Hado) to personal development (almost like Muu no Ken).

I mean, yeah, you'd need to make some adjustments because Sagat, but still.
