I really relate to Wally and his autistic traits, like how blunt he is with his answers and the awkward pauses, they make me crack up. Also the "No, but I'd like to understand" just melts my heart because that is very true with many autistic people, me included. I may not 'get' some things at first, but I'd like to understand so I can relate to you. Also I just adore how Frank and Julie treat him normally, no over the top babying or rudeness, just genuine care for their friend :]

Lmao, as an autistic person I relate so hard to that awkward pause after Wally asks if Home can play too and he seemingly can't think of anything else to say afterward. Conversation with other people is hard sometimes.

I love how this animatic captures and shows the awkwardness and unsettling nature Wally brings when he enters. You can tell by looking at this that there’s something really wrong with him.

I relate to Wally a lot, I was very similar when I was younger. I have autism so getting older I've had to practice my facial expression and my vocal tones so I don't “offend” anyone. Wish I hadn't, I had only done it to please people.

Something I really like about their chemistry, especially in this conversation, that everyone acts like the classic Sesame Street characters but then we meet Wally. I like how Wally isn’t made out as a villain but instead is under the influence of Home and wants to have fun with his friends but that is hard to do when you have a toxic relationship with something/someone at the same time. Such as the line he says when they ask if he understands just so, he says, "no, but i would like to understand. " it gives off the vibe of he wants to live normally but something is stopping him from being full emersed. Nice animation btw.
