In “OFF” you take control of a mysterious person called “The Batter”, who is described to be on an important mission. The Batter, and yourself as his controller, are dropped off in zone 0, the first of 4 zones in a perplexing, unknown world about which you slowly find out more and more in the process of the game.
“OFF” has been praised and known as an insider’s tip between French gamers for its strong story, great characters and incredible atmosphere.

And just in time to celebrate Mortis Ghost newest proyect 'Dr Cataclysm', I bring you this little fan-animation based on his famous game 'OFF', which I wish to make the first of a series of fan commercials based on famous RPG and independent games.
The music is from the game itself as well, and was composed by Alias Conrad Coldwood

This is really excellent. The original feel of the game is kept perfectly intact and a great set of moments are chosen that let you know what the game feels like without spoiling anything.

Is it just me, or do I see strings on characters in this? Refering to the player, who turned the game on, and navigated as a puppeteer (strings) for the batter, so he can turn the game OFF, as in completing it.

I remember back then when I got too crazy for this game and it made me search up for their fanarts and such. What a good memory.
