The feed was fine. IKF rushed and chose his lane before Gleyber even got rid of the ball. A natural shortstop makes that turn easily.

This is 100% on IKF, rushed & chose his lane before Torres even made his throw

That throw wasn't great but an MLB shortstop should be able to make a play on that ball for at least 1 out 99.9% of the time.

The feed could've been a little better, but that's primarily on IKF. He put him himself in a position where he wouldn't have been able to react as easily to an errant throw. He took an almost "too direct" path to the bag. If he ran to the back corner (like he should've), it's an easy adjustment.

Nah this was more on ikf than Gleyber that feed may have been to the wrong side of the bag but it wasn’t too far from ikf.

Who coulda seen IKF blowing it defensively when we needed it. Had multiple gaffs this postseason as well as numerous regular season errors or plays that should have been an error. Not like we had any young guys to play the position we coulda tried this year that we hugged during trade talks…

This put the wheels in motion that ended up making them lose the game and series. I'm a huge Yankees fan but it was clear the Astros was a better team. Well, there's always next year.

Missed the part where ikf shifted all his momentum one way so he couldn't even try to catch the ball. Throw still wasn't good. Both players failed

IKF was at fault, not Torres. He was fed perfectly but was on the right side of the bag, when he should have been on the other side away from the runner.

That power feed was rushed and horrible. I would have gone with open palm feed. The shortstop committed little too early not anticipating a bad throw.
