I believe in a more unified spiritual world. One not built on hate or division, but of understanding and respect. That is why my videos and topics have always been free of modern and divisive content. I am committed to providing information free of bias, drama, and ego. I believe religion, spirituality, and global healing is for everyone regardless of race, sexuality, gender, or political ideology.

This channel and it's content is only possible through the support of you amazing viewers and supporters of my work 🙏 It's just me behind the camera, so any support is always appreciated, even if it is just a comment and a like.

Thank you! And I hope to see you at a retreat in the future.

It’s a very important, seemingly simple skill. Actually listening to the person speaking with you. Treating them like the family member they are.

Thank you Jacob. I needed this reminder.

Beautifully said, Jacob, I didn't know it as "sacred listening" but "active listening" and we are certainly doing it way too little. Time to practice this art again, there should be always enough time to actually listen, deeply, closely, with all our mind, heart and soul.

I like the comparison between the act of fully listening to someone, and that of keeping a meditative focus. I struggle a lot with distractive thoughts while meditating, so trying to achieve a "listening" state might actually help me. Thanks Jacob 👍

Aw bruh, i got all excited, thinking this was gonna be an episode about sacred sound (in music)!!
It was still an excellent video... and i'll look forward to a future episode about sacred sound in the musical context, cuz i think you could do that topic justice.

Thank you! I really enjoy these videos! Could I ask a question? What is the pendant above Thor's hammer?

So! A couple things… I have Autism and ADHD, so some of the points brought up first gave me a few “red flags” simply because they are things that I struggle with more due to my neurology, BUT I took the time to listen to the entire video and some of the points given after that helped provide me with a solution to help this work with my neurology. When I enter into a conversation, I’m definitely going to be utilizing the advice of repeating back what the person is saying in my mind to remain present in the conversation. I was already testing it out with the video and it really helped me absorb more than I would have without that advice.

I think written communication could be add to this. I would suggest that when you are writing, to have the intention of sharing what you know & having genuine interest in what the other person thinks about it. Also communicating is a relationship. There are 3 keys to every relationship to give them their best chance. Responsible, respectful & consent. There are levels of respect for others that we are each responsible for ourselves (personal space as an example) and before we violate those established boundaries we get consent (shaking hands for example). Maybe you have ideas about how to apply that to text communications?

neat video, keen realisation. in 2014 i heard a humming noise that eventually clarified to chanting from west papua.
you can read this comment because it's your channel, but no one else can see it, unless you do something to acknowledge it, apd possibly, even not then, i don't know how youtube's censorship works.
anyway, i used to develop vst instruments as xoxos. i can hear, but i'm also the divine creator audio synthesist dsp god click and hear celebrity demons. definitely knees or lower for lodge goers. i smite.
and smite.
