Huge security failure. Video shows that all bodyguards where looking forward, completely oblivious to the killer waiting on the sidewalk behind them

There was no security in my opinion. They were facing away from the road where the assassin came from 😓. This was so preventable 🙏🏿💔

Rest in Peace. The video I've seen shows how no one is guarding the rear section. Not even one. The guy just walk near him from behind and shoot him with a shotgun. Even after the 1st shot, the reaction of the security team is so slow.

*This serve as a valuable lesson to all politician making public speeches to never ever let your guard down with security issues and dont get too close with members of the public cos you will never know whats lurking*

Shinzo Abe's killer, probably saved hundreds of thousands, perhaps, even millions of lives. Nuclear missiles in Japan, targeting China & Russia would surely have caused reciprocal actions by these targets.

Shinto Abe's maternal grandfather, Nobusuke Kishi, was to be tried as a Class A war criminal, after WW2. He ruled Manchuria and was called Monster of Manchuria coz of his cruelty. He was imprisoned for 3 years, but later released, coz the Americans needed him, to help run Japan. He served under Tojo, the Prime Minister during the war. He later became Prime Minister of Japan (1957-60), while his son Shintaro Abe (Sinzo Abe's father) became foreign minister (1982-86).

The family history, shows that Abe was a blue blood in Japan’s politics. Japan’s imperialism & extreme nationalism, have been LDP trademarks. Their biggest obstacle today, is China. Abe, is the mastermind in the moves for the further containment of China, & in the formation of QUAD.

Since he returned to power in 2012, Abe had embarked on an unprecedented anti-China mission, changing his country's pacifist foreign policy! Abe, funded nearly all anti-China think tanks in the US to advocate for the US's containment strategy, against China. He also bankrolled, many Western media to spread anti-China propaganda. Trying to discredit China's BRI projects, he offered what he called 'better alternatives'. He engaged in shuttle diplomacy, to create an anti-China coalition in Asia, spearheading the formation/revival of the Quad.

In a nutshell, it could be said, Abe was the critical figure, who engineered Japan's hostile change toward China. He is also responsible, for Japan's increasing re-militarization! Good riddance!

What's more shocking?
The current PM was speaking, heard the news of the assassination, no facial expression change and he continued on.

Was he surprised, did he cares?
It seems there are more to Japan political affairs.

The fact that the shooter got so close without no one noticing is crazy. None of the security had his back.

Sorry that was not much security when you allowed someone get that close with that homemade gun. That was not a well concealed weapon. It was a giant shotgun. He could kill someone by swinging that thing.

*Hes too exposed as shown in the clip and no amount of security can intercept any sudden attack especially from the back*

We don't really know about domestic Japanese politics. I've always wondered about where Japanese self-respect has gone to. They were the only country suffering from the use of the Atomic Bomb and nearly 80 years after their surrender, they're still under the military thumb of the USA. Internationally, they obediently toe the line of the Americans, and seem glad to be a dutiful American lapdog in every possible way. This political act of attempted assassination by a former member of their Self-Defence Force potentially shows that there may be undercurrents in internal Japanese politics that the world is unaware of.

Japan is one of the best places on 🌎. Something like this still happening in the world. Every country should watch current leaders and former leaders as well.

Deepest condolences to the Abe family and the Government and Citizens of Japan! Wondering if former prime ministers are protected by the equivalent secret service as in the US? Why security forces? Where were these forces? Why was the attacker allowed to go behind him? Where was the Japanese equivalent of the secret service? So sad😢😢😢
