"Rick May, a voice actor best known to PC gamers for his portrayal of the gruff-talking Soldier in Team Fortress 2, has died after contracting COVID-19. His death was reported by the Rekindle School, an independent art, acting, and film school in Seattle, Washington where May was a teacher."

Yesterday was a sad day for the TF2 community, as the beloved voice actor for Soldier had passed away that day, 4 years ago. The solar eclipse was just Rick May performing the worlds best rocket jump.

Today marks the 4th year since Rick May's passing, and every year during this day I always come to this video to send my condolences to him. He was a gift from god but soon to be taken by an evil disease, that is the Corona virus. This guy has changed alot of people's lifes and made a ton of people's days with his voice acting and his passion, and I still think of him to this day, sometimes even getting some tears out and getting emotional because of his passing. For all the people, that see this message I just wanna say.. Continue on with your life, enjoy playing games and better yet, enjoy playing tf2 if you can, and remember this.. April 8th is the day that our beloved legend passed, so make sure to pay your respects each year for him, as he may be watching us from above, smiling and living in a better life from up top. Godspeed you magnificent bastard 😭
