Just an update, I had commented that I ordered the nanovna from R&L. Received it yesterday, and after a small learning curve got it up and running. WOW! I'm really impressed. Checked it against my 949 tuner on my hf antennas, and it looks to be spot on for swr readings. Really happy with this device so far.

On MTC part you mentioned the Home Patrol II as a scanner that does different modes. You mentioned DMR, well the HomePatrol-II DOES NOT do DMR -- it is one rason I want to sell my 'paperweight' - the others in the HP series had an upgrade to do DMR but the HP-II won't do it. Too Bad.

Thanks for the video Jason. Not going to lie, I have been pretty disappointed by the "deals" so far this weekend. MTC seems to be the only one with actual discounts, everyone else is business as usual, calling their normal prices a Hamvention special.

Bought my nanovna last week for $10 more on Amazon last week. I've been really please with it. It's made antenna building and tuning easy and fun.

Yep! pretty much business as usual other than a few trish trash clearance/overstock items. And I like their gear and all, and had plans to buy a 9700 with a some amount of a discount from someone during Hamvention but they went the wrong way. So, most likely not gonna happen this year. Thanks for the run down though. Gonna put the AMEX back in my pocket now. 73
