Mt Fuji exploding is quite the reason...

Ah, yes, earthquakes and Mount Fuji. Japan is very dangerous. You should live in a safer place... like Australia.

I've seen those Australian spiders. I'll take my chances with Mt. Fuji.

Sakurajima is far more likely to have a major eruption. It’s already had several minor eruptions over the last year or so. The 450, 000 people of Kagoshima-shi live directly in the shadow of the volcano. Even other Japanese are discomfited by the fatalism embraced by the inhabitants of the area. There is currently both an active steam vent and a flume of volcanic ash that has polluted the air severely.

the spiders and snakes are quite nice during the summer in Australia

The thing is in Australia they're not building enough houses for the amount of people already in the country. Finding a home even to rent is a nightmare

Meanwhile australians: DESPERATELY TRYING TO GET INTO JAPAN

I'm mixed and lived in both countries, but more in the USA now. Yeah, Japan was only cool for me because I was a kid... Who also went to American schools, usually.

Actually living there as a "member of society, " is very different. And I can blend in since I'm 75% Japanese, so I don't think that's having a huge effect. Granted, it's mostly native Okinawan and some people can tell.

Me, also in an Asian country where most of the Ring of Fire happens to converge: Carpe Diem to us all.

Japanese family has never seen giant spiders before, or the fact that the center of Australia is all desert, where many people live in the coast.

I've been lucky enough to have visited both Australia and Japan and they both have such special places in my heart! But Australia is my favorite place in the world

The mount Fuji due to explode is my only reason to not go to Japan... I mean as humans we have made accurate models that get really close to the actual event.
I live in Guatemala, we also have earthquakes here. And it's a rule of law that when seismic activity increases volcanic eruption occur

The earthquakes are the reason I'm scared to even go there. Have you ever experienced an earthquake since you arrived?

Japanese expats have always fascinated me since the the first on I met, a dude named "Georgie" (he transliterated his name, i forget what his real name was)
Guy was literaly the most hardcore stereotypical "American" I've ever known. I'm pretty sure if you cut his throat he'd bleed bald eagles and apple pie.
And *every* Japanese expat I've known is like that. And they're dead serious.
Makes me appreciate the US more and REALLY wonder wtf is going on over in Japan
