We applied and were basically turned down because we had no existing farm, already. I was so excited thinking that it was an option for us, but it wasn’t. Daniel hasn’t done the proper plant everything the way NCRS wants you to. I was told it has to be in the ground or shallow raised beds. I love their channel, but my extension agent said that would t fly with them. Great video for people who would qualify. 👍👍

Thank you for the information. Are we Gardener required to have an acre+. I'm a vertical gardener. My dream is to grow food for my community who can't afford or have means to travel. I have a short growing season. Having a high tunnel would be a dream come true, I would be able to grow year round.

You kind of glazed over how to get bumped up the list to get a high tunnel. Can you touch a bit more on that? Thanks! We should have done this a year ago (which obviously would have put us in a better place), but any info you can offer is helpful for getting bumped up the list! :-)

Warning:

The lenders typically charge 112% for the service and roll the principle onto the national debt.
