Joe Rogan on Happiness

After a half-century of living and looking, Joe Rogan offers the following tips to inform your own path to self-improvement and happines.

Joe Rogan kind of envies you. Yes, you. To legions of his fans (maybe you’re one of them), that probably doesn’t make sense, seeing as how men from their teens to their 50s wish they could be him—strong, dangerous, charismatic, multi-skilled, rich, famous, and fast becoming both a sports and entertainment legend.

Joe Rogan is perhaps best known for his work on television for the sitcom News Radio, the reality show Fear Factor, and most recently for the SYFY show Joe Rogan Questions Everything. A decorated kick boxer and jiu jitsu blackbelt, Joe also found a home as the premier color commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While still an actively touring comedian selling out theaters across the world, Joe Rogan is also the host of one of the most successful podcasts in history. The Joe Rogan Experience podcast receives over 11 million downloads a month, providing both inspiration and comedy, while offering a venue for discussing current events, health and civil liberty.

This is a good word Joe...Thanks man! We mistake the tension of the journey for something going wrong. When, in fact, it could be a sign that things are going right.

Have had this exact thought process going on in my own head for awhile now! Amazing to see other people that get it, but not surprising, as we are all influenced in some way!

Thanks Joe.
Happiness is more verb than noun. Not only a verb, though. Also, letting go. Doing less. Wanting less. Needing less. Giving more. Thinking more. Like you do. Taking personal responsibility for our whole self, our every state of being.
Love Alpha Brain memory/focus but too $$$$!

You make some great points Joe!! Albeit I grow tired of people who make good money telling us money doesn't help towards your happiness. Well, I disagree. Most all of my problems stem from not having enough cash to get off the ground. I don't need it to be happy per say, but god damn would it relieve stress in areas.

all anyone really wants is to have somewhere clean to live and enjoy company with and a little privacy. the problem is and always has been the golden rule as many see it: those with the gold make the rules. that doesn't necessarily work too well when you have 7.4 billion people competing versus one another. we just need everyone to get on board with a utopian style world and we'd be alright. it's not overpopulated yet, we just need to stop making mistakes in our ecosystem

To those who are thinking "what the fuck is he talking about?" It's all about the journey and not the goal itself. If you don't enjoy the journey you'll never be happy in life. If your goal is to lose weight but you hate working out and you decide to go through some bullshit extreme diet of 1000 kcal or below to get to your goal weight, guess what? You might get there but guess what's next. You'll be yo-yoing back to the original weight quickly. You have to find a way to enjoy the journey and the goal will be just an extra motivation.

I couldn't stop looking and the small piece of what I'm guessing was glitter on his left cheek.

But i'm always told by people money=happiness? even though I tell them that's a lie. They tell me they are happy right now but being rich would make them extremely happy. think so unless that money is going to help people who need it IMO.
