I view favorites as a good thing. In fact, I track favorites vs visits, just like sales, and I have a 6.2% conversion rate. My sales conversion rate is 2.8%.

I also set up an email to go out to anyone who favorites one of my items. If offers a discount code for free shipping. It's gone out 74 times, however it's only been used once. Take that for what it's worth.
