POWER MIG 210MP DEAL - Ends July 31, 2016

This project can be made with any ole metal bits,
to simply create a most useful tool-- to MAKE METAL STUFF..

I used the Lincoln Power Mig 210
MP means Multi Process - stick - mig- tig
110 or 220 v easy swap.
My machine kicks ass on 110v home run line to the panel.

I love these things. Everyone has their own version of it, all of them are kinda thrown together in a pinch and they all work great. It's literally impossible to screw these things up.

SO simple but genius... That's how all good tools start right? Some guy squeezing two bits of metal together to hold another piece unknowingly invented pliers - necessity is the mother of invention - love your work!

Very cool!
Interesting that you needed a 3rd hand to build a 3rd hand ;-)
I really enjoy your channel and work. Thanks!

a couple of "Giaco style" welding hold-down spider thingys! I saw his in a video and thought how useful that would be, even in woodworking. A hold-down on a drill press or table saw sled, etc.
Good stuff David

Been meaning to make one of these, nice to know I can make it in English without a juicy soundtrack. A nice little tip picked up from Italy David? Nice to see older tools being re-used. Lovely job, as always.

Just a word for what it is worth--spikes are made of soft steel. They can be bent very easily. Rail steel is hard high carbon steel. Sometimes it is head hardened to reduce wear. This is something to keep in mind if an item is to made of rail or spikes. Track bolts are also soft steel usually.
