The US is calling on North Korea to return to denuclearisation talks, as tensions continue to rise. Meeting his South Korean counterpart Lee Do-hoon in Seoul, US special envoy Stephen Biegun slammed Pyongyang's demands for concessions by end-2019 as "hostile, negative and unnecessary". He warned North Korea against conducting a major-weapons test in the coming days, amid signs that Pyongyang was getting ready to launch a satellite or flight-test its long-range intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). Mr Biegun also met South Korean President Moon Jae-in, and promised that the US will continue to engage North Korea for peace on the Korean peninsula.

Very sad that people basic human rights of communication, unrestricted internet, and right of speech are cut off. A very sad decrepit society, governed by a depot tyrant. Even the United States would be better to live in than this living hell.
