The shows are intended to raise funds for the French charity "Les Restos du Cœur," which provides food aid and social services to the poor and homeless. The concerts feature a variety of performances, including unique medleys, reinterpretations of popular songs, and theatrical elements, often with elaborate stage designs and costumes. Since its inception in 1986 by the French comedian Coluche, Les Enfoirés has grown significantly in popularity and impact, drawing participation from some of France's most beloved artists and celebrities. Each year, the concert is televised in France, attracting millions of viewers and resulting in significant contributions to the charity.
