As a person who grew up with a family full of SU grads, including mom, dad, grandpa and others, then growing up in Houston being exposed to Texas Southern, you can say I’m a fan of Jukebox and Ocean of Soul, but will be damned if the Boom didn’t just play one of the best arrangements we’ve heard this year?!?! You have to love the quality of music that The Boom and others are producing if you are a fan of musicianship. Great job yall!

At this point the Sonic Boom of the South band staff and students need to be investigated!!!! They sound soooo good. My favorite part was at 1:52 when they came back in together. Mannnn them trumpets!! 😭😭😭 can’t wait to hear this in the fall with the band 300 deep!!!! #LuvDaBoom🔥🔥

Must for the fall. Man yall sound good af!! Luvdaboom in full effect. It’s not one band sounding like this rn. It’s a lot of bands that sound good but they up and down. Da Boom been on an upward climb for about 3-4 years now with the last two flawless seasons. Kudos to the staff and more importantly the kids buying in that is why yall will dominate for years to come. Keep striving!
