I've seen the picture at least three times, and seen this specific scene maybe ten times, yet it still gives me goose bumps.

God I miss these kind of movies! Love the stuff they made in the late 90s

I'm so relieved the software engineer coded "SHOOT" on the HUD otherwise the pilot wouldn't know what to do! 😁

Best part of the movie was when Steven Segal got killed off in the beginning

FYI... Baker (the Morse Code guy) is played by Whip Hubley; he also played "Hollywood" in Top Gun.

Have been watching it since childhood. Don't know why it came in mind now to review it. It's one of the great movie of 90s. Amazing screenplay, strong acting and action, thriller. Everything you can find out. Most important whole story is correlated, nothing lacks that you can say it's missing. Love to watch this even today.

That image of the 747 with the elevator lights flashing has been re-used SO many times in so many different shows over the years lol.

I’m a bit rusty but explains the whole message

It's not only amazing but eerie that the filmmakers had the foresight to envision this scenario (American fighter planes shooting down a civilian airliner that's been hijacked by Islamic terrorists) long before 9/11 even happened. Life imitating art.

2:06 Hollywood from Top Gun making fun of Navy pilots... such a meta joke.

Every movie with Morse code in the past 70 years, I'm a bit rusty, I'm sending playmate dimensions of the month. Guy at the other end, well I'm a bit rusty and he could be sending me clues for Cluedo, but gives perfect translation. ME: Oh so you go flashy, wait, flashy and it's understood 👍
