One thing a lot of people miss when they ask questions like "so after you're saved, you can do (insert sin here) and still go to heaven?", is the fact that someone who genuinely believes in Christ is given a new heart, and a believer with a new heart will not go on sinning the way he would before he was saved.

If you truly love Jesus, you wouldn't do things that upset him. If you love someone you don't go out of your way to offend them. We aren't judged by our acts, but our actions can definitely betray our true feelings towards God and Jesus.

Repentance is key but so is conversion which means following and seeking to Love like Jesus after you accept His Mercy and forgiveness. And when you fall seeking Jesus and His Mercy so you know how to and have the strength to Love even when it hurts (die to yourself) like Jesus and do the Father in Heaven’s Will. But also avoid pride of thinking you are or can be Jesus (only Jesus saves). Also not being selfish but knowing when and how to offer Love and Mercy (speak Truth or be quiet). It’s very difficult pride and presumption are a very real and tricky thing in the battle of a Christian.

Thank you for staying firm on the gospel. There is no "well if you're REALLY a Christian you'll do....XYZ after you're saved or else you weren't REALLY saved..." that's just backloading the gospel with a later condition of works. Paul said if a man's works were TOTALLY burned up he'd still be saved, yet as through fire. It's like "CONGRATS you are saved, you enter into eternity with very little standing, " but you are still in paradise. You can be poor and live in Hawaii. Or you can have a mansion, be respected everywhere you go, and drive a maserati.

Intent matters, how can a hateful soul be allowed into heaven to corrupt it, it will not be allowed. You can't live in sin and just 'believe' and think that will get you into heaven, I think that is a grave misunderstanding. God can see your true heart, he won't be fooled by lip service. You will be forgiven if you mean it not just want it.

Maybe it's the short format, but the way this was worded comes dangerously close to promoting license (as opposed to liberty). While Christians should not promote legalism either, I think it's important to make a distinction between deliberate/repeated sin vs accidental/unplanned sin.

Truly forgiveness is a gift from GOD, but Heaven is a reward not a faith is the direction toward GOD and Obedience is the key to heaven....100% Faith is 100%Focus to GOD and 100% Obedience is accomplishing the Greatest commandments of GOD is not faith but can have 100%faith but without love, but you can never have LOVE without and trust is a word and do your word to become flesh and that call my brother a LOVE... your will be done not BLESS!
