The ULTIMATE Off-Grid Victron System for Campervans!

We have power! Building the ultimate (budget friendly) off grid campervan electrical system for a gasless setup.

The challenge was building something into a compact space so we could fit double bunk beds in the rear of our MWB VW Crafter. We also wanted the most capacity, power and solar to run a gasless system for convenience and space.

Thanks to Chris at Bspk Solar for the supply and advice on the Victron components.

Nice! We are in the midst of planning our system and acquiring components. We will have 3 solar arrays coming in (2000 watts total) so we may actually use a Lynx distributor AND a power in, but as we have received parts I am discovering that they are all way bigger and heavier than I realized, especially when you factor in 2 460AH batteries! I’m really having to consider where they will fit and how the weight will effect the balance of our trailer. I like you modded the Lynx Power In to basically make a Lynx Distributor light!

Great set up! I want to upgrade my motorhome to have a decent off grid style inverter like yours. I run 12v and gas pretty well but have to do without powering anything over an iPhone. I do however love the ability to use the shower and heating/cooking appliances on gas if I want to. So a good gas option always works well for me. Good job mate

Hi, on the multiplus there is a spade connection to allow it to be used as a vehicle starter battery trickle charger, have you used this? Thinking about doing this myself.
