This was the first Heathkit I built (I was 13-years-old); I agree it was a great starter kit. The second Heathkit I built was an 8 Channel Radio Control ... which was almost too big a jump.

Got one of these on order from Ebay. They say it's in working condition. Hopefully there won't be a corroded battery or too much aging to the electronic components.
