Every year on Minnesota's Lake Mille Lacs, a massive floating peat island breaks free and drifts across the water. Threatening to damage the Wahkon Bay bridge, this natural phenomenon brings the local community together. Watch as residents take to their boats in a unique annual tradition to push the island back to safety!

why dont they push it in front of a non floating island or place where this floating island would be blocked and stay adjacent without drifting anywhere?
