First appearing in the pages of Detective Comics and now leaping to the Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game, it's Batman! Batman: Everybody Lies uses the Detective game system where you will take on the role of one of 4 concerned citizens (none of them Batman) and try and discover what is the newest disaster to be haunting your fair city. Play through a prolog and 3 chapters, each with its own mystery to solve that all connect to one main story. But be warned, you all have your own motives and objectives. Will you be able to keep the group together, or will Gotham fall to chaos?

A copy of Batman: Everybody Lies was provided to Roll For Crit for the purposes of this video.

Never played the first Detective. Now with my new phone I think I can play them. Looks cool.

Coming from the Sherlock line of detective games, where you notably do not play as Holmes, I find the fact you do not play as Batman apropos. Batman is the worlds greatest detective, akin to Holmes, so we fallible plebeians shouldn't ever play as him for precisely the same reason the investigative classic from the 80s omitted that option.

Is there any chance to play through this solo?
