It’s Ni Key to sort of rhyme with spi key! And that is the “official pronunciation” 😉 because Nike was the Greek god of victory and when speaking Greek as a language, you have to pronounce every letter - the letter E at the end of the word Nike has to be “said” as it’s not a “silent” letter. I love your vlogs - I live close to Dartford - a place called Darenth, home of the Darenth Interchange. - gateway to the M25 and its environs! You ought to do a vlog on traffic whilst sitting at the Interchange!

I saw the Gravesend one (where I work) and I have been to and through Otford a million times but have only ever stopped at the big Sainsbury’s there - so what you visited was a revelation to me! That tea shop is a must visit. Eynsford was good too - did you see the signs pointing to Eagle Heights bird park? That is really worth a visit and the views over the Kent countryside are stunning! (Well, not so at the moment! Wait until the grass is green again!)

But back to where I live in Darenth, we have one of the oldest churches in GB - Saxon/Norman- St Margaret’s of Antioch and a bit of a Roman villa too and just under three miles away is the village of Bean and three miles away BLUEWATER!! 😂 yay! I have lived here since before the birth of that homage to retail was “born” and it’s so nice to not to have to schlepp over to Bromley or Lakeside 😫 to shop; but we avoid it like the plague during the Christmas and New Year …. 😵‍💫 I was pleased to see one of the infamous Bluewater reindeer on your vlog too! 😄Darenth Country Park is pretty - most of Darenth is just open “countryside” yet a stone’s throw away, it’s all the industry, manufacturing and production by the QEII bridge and the infamous Tunnel!
