Looks delicious. I had Fasolaki at a Greek restaurant recently and loved it. Planning to make my own soon. I think this would be the prefect replacement for the standard holiday“green beans casserole.” Would cooking it overnight in a slow cooker work too, once prepped and assembled as you have?

All Greeks use A LOT of olive oil, like at least 4 times more then i would put in a salad or meal.. i remember my boyfriend (now husband) using it first time in front of me (he is Greek and a great cook) i was SHOCKED ..but noo, u cant say nothing to them.. "it is a gift of Gods and we have to use it" ..specially when we have tons of it from our own olives ;)
