Thanks for your explanation. Another method is: Select the  Cthulhu track and highlight the speaker symbol (right side of red record enable button)  in the Omnisphere track.

Hey there Mike, thank you for this tutorial. I would NEVER have guessed that both tracks had to be highlighted... I don't think this was the case in older versions of Cubase? Anyhow, thanks again for this short and sweet fix! : )

for anyone else looking at this video, if you simply click the monitor icon ( this one 🔉 ) of the cthulu track, this allows you to send the midi to your synth without the cthulu track being highlighted :)

never been able to get this Cthulhu to even show up in my vst instrument window / menu, another lost instrument, rubbish !
