First time I laid eyes on the special a few years back, I said "Chuck Jones". I didn't know anything about it, but when I saw the artstyle I recognized it as unmistakably him.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas 2000 is my favorite. Jim Carrey is hilarious and I still watch it every year

I have very fond memories of the watching the TV special every year in elementary school. My teachers always had an excuse to put it on. 😂

I was also one of those kids that loved the 2000 Jim Carrey film and re-watch it every Christmas.

I never realized The Who’s in ‘Horton Hears a Who and ‘The Grinch’ were the same people.

The Chuck Jones version is the only one I've ever seen and the only one I WANT to see... You can't improve, on perfection!

Thurl Ravenscroft did some voices for Disney features as well, including: Monstro the Whale in Pinocchio, one of the Painter Cards in Alice in Wonderland, Al the Alligator in Lady and the Tramp, Captain the Horse in One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Sir Bart in The Sword in the Stone and The Brave Little Toaster trilogy as Kirby the Vacuum Cleaner.

I remember when I was around twelve years old and I watched the 2000s version of Grinch. My father said I watch movies for babies after a relative of my mom told him what I was watching. What a Christmas memory I have from that year...

I did enjoy Jim Carrey as The Grinch. My favorite scenes are:
The Grinch trying to decide what to wear to the Whoville Christmas party.
The Grinch giving Max direction on his performance as Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.
The Grinch returning home after the party, catching Max having his own little Christmas shindig.

So, the Grinch has been an illustration, a 2D cartoon, a live action actor, a puppet, and a CGI cartoon. Not many characters have been portrayed in that many mediums.

_In my opinion, the original Chuck Jones-animated, _
_No way can its superiority be overstated!_
_Enlisting the talent, not just Boris Karloff, _
_But June Foray as well, and Thurl Ravenscroft._
_Tho may seem it's been 'round since epoch Triassic, _
_An eternally joyous Dr. Seussian classic!_

Absolute favorite. The book version. I love Chuck and I love his animation. But Seuss’s illustrations are pure art. And I would kill for an animated adaptation that stuck closer to it.

Ron Howard's How the Grinch Stole Christmas is by far my favourite. I remember that it was a Christmas present from my parents when it first came out and I still watch the film every year.
