Now, I’ve only played up to the point in P5 when Yusuke gets his Persona, but my nerd-ass friend Alice showed me this song the other day between rounds of Smash Bros. I legit went DEAD silent at 1:42 when the Velvet Room theme started playing. I absolutely LOVE when videogames/anime/whatever feature a triumphant remix of another song at the climax of the player’s journey.

Edit: Damn I was wrong, Nyx got nerfed hard especially with the new mechanics.

I remember when Nyx charmed TWO of my characters and I was so goddamn scared, luckily they ended up dying, however my HP and MP were so low I could either use it to heal them or cast one of those special super moves the end Personas had. It was just me and brohiko left. So I decided to see if I could land a final blow on Nyx with it. The next turn comes, and Nyx targets me and goes to finish me off, and Brohiko literally DIVES in front of it and takes the hit to save me, I'm literally cheering from my chair and cast it, and it finishes the fucker off. This was a 40 minute battle so that was probably the most hype moment I've ever had in a game. Then the ending came and broke me like Bane did to Batman.

I know people bitch about AI characters but they're missing out on moments like that where it all comes together and the AI gods deem you worthy to protect. Best game ever.

I played Persona 3 on 2020, it was the best game I played recently.

Yukari uses Diaharan on Nyx and heals him to full.

I literaly wish i was charmed so i could kill Yukari myself.
I was so mad when that happned, and he annihilated me the following turns, but i had  afew plumes of dusk to save me...

Can someone who’s been a fan of the persona series since the very start back in the 90s please tell me what it was like hearing this song for the first time and hearing the velvet room theme get rearranged into this. I cannot fathom the sheer eargasm that might’ve happened
