what is funny is that the 80's was the era of the synths, guitars, etc... but there was a trend for sax, even the cure used a sax solo in one of their song.
This is why you have Dire Straits and George Michael in the list.
There was a lot of hits with sax at this era, while it was not really part in the main trend.
