When the cement for my garage was drying, one of our chickens walked right across the middle of it. We asked the builders to leave a few footprints intact. And now that chicken is long gone, but her footprints remain!

Reminds me of a similar thing but with cats. One cat stepped on ink and got its paws on a manuscript a scribe was in the middle of writing. I think it was from the 15th century.

Whenever I see little foot prints in cement now I love it! My friends old house had some steps leading to the flat and there was tiny cat paw prints there :))

Its so cool that the ancient ziggurats of mesopotamia are still standing today. Just for perspective the ziggurats were around before the pyramids. Its even cooler how a dog's footprint was left in the stone. I can imagine that the builders left it there thinking about the future
