I'm so happy someone finally said something about the 1917 thing. I know why it is upsetting. It means that one of two things has happened. 1) NO ONE will stand up to trump, even to correct a teeny tiny mistake or 2) they did correct him, and he refused to change it and kept repeating it. Either way it says something unmistakably malevolent about his character.

I’m in the UK, there is a spike in my town, so they’re asking everyone to get tested. I book d my test at 9pm Wednesday Evening, I took my test at 1130 Thursday morning, there was ONE car ahead of us. At 9.20pm this evening (Thursday... same day!) I received a text and an email with my results!

Trouble is my test came back as “unclear” so I am getting a retest... tomorrow morning.

The system can work if it’s being run by someone with half a brain. I mean we’ve got Boris and he’s almost got half a brain. He doesn’t know where he put it, he thinks it’s with his comb... but we have the NHS which fucking ROCKS!!

However currently I’m Schrödinger’s Cat...

"They could have practiced distancing" ... They DID practice social distancing during the Spanish Flu. There were quarantines in place and curfews to help stop the spread. REPEATED news articles, historical reports, death records, personal written accounts, etc etc etc show how distancing helped slow and the spread, as well as how and why a second wave became so deadly. It is precisely that we HAVEN'T been following those lessons from the past that we're in the situation we are now.

In canada, I was tested for covid. I completed and online survey about symptoms, I got an email with an appointment for the next day. I went, got my test, and by the next day I had my results. Negative! I didnt have to pay for the test, I didnt have to wait for the test. I'm so thankful to be a Canadian.
I am wishing all of my neighbours to south stay safe, and wear a goddamn mask.

Imagine what the interviewer would say if you spent the whole interview talking about the other candidate and what you think they are gonna do if they are being hired. Who on earth would hire you? Like ever!
