'BJP-Mukt South India': Says Randeep Singh Surjewala After Congress Victory In Karnataka | PM Modi

The Congress wrested control of the crucial Karnataka from the Bharatiya Janata Party in the assembly election, boosting its prospects ahead of the Lok Sabha elections due next year. The Congress ended up winning 135 of Karnataka's 244 seats - a record in terms of both seats and vote share. The BJP could only win 66 seats and HD Kumaraswamy's Janata Dal (Secular) 19 seats. Accompanied by state Congress president DK Shivakumar, veteran leader Siddaramaiah and AICC in-charge of Karnataka Randeep Singh Surjewala at a victory ceremony on Saturday evening, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Those who wanted to make 'Congress Mukt Bharat' (Congress-free India) spoke many things against us but today one thing has come true and that is 'BJP Mukt Dakshin Bharat' (BJP free South India)."

Promise Vs Actual - BJP rule in Karnataka.
BJP rule in Karnataka = Hindutva+ Violence + Corruption + Double engine effect.

What is Double engine effect? 
- Two profit making national banks from coastal Karnataka are finished.
- Amul is pushed to displace Nandini.
- Marginal represetation in Union cabinet, 2 Rajya Sabha MPs, both non Kannada, are holding important ministries and about 4 out of 25 elected MPs holding  non significant ministries and junior ministers. 
- BJP state president Nalin was nowhere and other senior state BJP leaders were hardly given any importance. Instead Yogi/Biswa were leading the election campaign. 
- Hindi appeasement, by investing several times more for new infra in few heavyweight states, because they are critical to govt formation at the centre, while they contribute far less by way of tax to national exchequer. Lawless states are sending people to find jobs in Karnataka which used to be peaceful, stable and progressive but all these are deteriorating. Union Home Minister says Hindi will be made compulsory in Karnataka when language is never an issue and most are proficient in Hindi. 
- Bangalore is neglected and it is messed up. In future FDIs will be automatically diverted away from Bangalore to other states, perhaps Gujarat, UP,  

Is Double Engine effect helpful? NO. 👎

People of Karnataka have been always generous in their hospitality and respect towards people from all states. Practice the principle of One nation - One identity. Today people from everywhere are living happily in Karnataka. This will continue as long as the goodwill is reciprocated with good deeds. Else all are going to be the losers. Will that help to make India great nation again? NO.
