1. What is a GDPS?

2. How was this new 2.2 GDPS possible?

On December 5th, 2019, the Lite and Meltdown versions were taken off the Play Store following an advertisement being present in the games. They were restored five days later, however, extra functionality that included new gamemodes and editor features were discovered in the leaked versions. The leak included many new features, yet some features were stripped from the release files before being published. This included parts of the new multiplayer mode (dubbed Challenge Mode), the Map, and the revamped 2.2 editor. Desite attempts from collaborating members of the programming and reverse engineering community, hopes of restoring the editor was lost due to the daunting task of having to reverse engineer and accurately rewrite parts of the editor layer. After a year, Blaze decided to single-handedly reverse engineer the editor. The source code of the editor restoration is public on github if you want to take a look at it.

3. In which platforms can I play the GDPS?

This is for ANDROID devices. You can play this on Windows and MacOS using an Android emulator like Bluestacks or LDPlayer.

4. What kind of new features does this GDPS offers that are not already in others?

The biggest one is the Platformer mode, as you can see on the sneak peek by robtop himself, allows you to create 2D platformer-gameplay. This GDPS has also a lot of new 2.2 Editor features like particle editor, swing copter game-mode, new triggers like song trigger, timewarp trigger etc.

6. How to enable playtest?

Options ➡️ GDPS Settings ➡️ Playtest
Playtest works only on android, do not try on emulator.

7. Can I use default GD Icons?
