The STATEN ISLAND New York They Never Show You. Back in the USA In this New York vlog I am in my hometown of Staten Island exploring all this borough of new york city has to offer. NYC is very diverse and ecclectic and Staten Island is no exception to that, in this video I walk around the Bay St. George area not too far from the famous Staten Island Ferry. One minute he was honoring the cops when he ran into a couple of them, then at the bus when the cops were ENFORCING THE LAW and cracking down on fare evaders who rip off the city, this guy said the cops were BS.

Can't believe people complain about paying to ride a bus. Don't they realize how much gas costs? Every comfort has a cost. Or they can buy a car with insurance and pay for gas themselves which is a small fortune.

It's about time they arrest people for not paying the fare. I worked as a staten island Bus OPERATOR for over a quarter of a century. 1/3 pay their full fare. 1/3 walk on by. !/3 think the fare box is a donation box. You whine about paying a fare? Then state the wrong amount. The fare is $3.25. Obviously you never paid it. I am so glad people are being arrested. About time. Why should honest taxpayers finance you?

A bus fare in NYC is $2.90 and they are going to raise it. Express bus is $7.00 and that will go up too. ABOUT HALF THE PEOPLE who get on a bus In NYC DO NOT PAY THE FARE NOW. The city is cracking down by putting plain clothes cops on the busses and just rounding up the people who don't pay, kicking them off and handing them tickets. I think the tickets are like $200 to $300.
