Love that you mentioned that it’s not safe for pets and kids, just another little heads up eucalyptus can be bad for asthma so I would just give a little warning for any asthmatics who don’t know
Edit: there’s a bunch of people here saying that their doctor said that it is good for asthma. I wasn’t specifically saying that it is always bad for asthma but that there is a possibility that it can do more harm than good. While it eucalyptus does help reduce congestion, asthma can make the lungs very sensitive and things that have a strong scent such as essentially oils can trigger asthma attacks in a similar way that perfume of heavily scented soaps do. If you’re sick (which is when a lot of people use eucalyptus) or you just generally have very sensitive lungs that haven’t reacted well to heavily scented things in the past it’s good to know that something could be a bigger trigger, especially in a situation where there is going to be more humidity which can also trigger asthma. So while it can help because of its anti inflammatory properties it can also exasperate asthma so it’s good to be aware of both the benefits and the risks when using it for the first time. I personally have found that eucalyptus triggers my asthma but other people might find that it helps them, it’s all about what triggers your asthma

Thank you for mentioning pets and kids! It won't just make them sick, they can die, and a lot of people don't understand that. A woman believed strongly in essential oil myths and misinformation and left a eucalyptus oil diffusion going in the bedroom of her son, 4 years old. When she returned to the room to check on him, he was dead. It's very scary stuff, so I'm glad you took that into account when recommending this stuff.

Am from southern part of India we put eucalyptus in the water and boil them and we had bath with that water it has so many medicinal properties

if the option is there you want spiral eucalyptus, this is silver dollar euc. spiral has wayyy more of the “oil” that provides that trademark smell you want. (im a florist lol)
