If you own a dyson vacuum, please clean it according to the manual. Don't overuse cleaning detergent. A bit of dish soap is enough. Wear a mask if you're dry cleaning it, so that you don't inhale all the fine particles. And Don't submerge the electronic parts in water.

literally, the manual says that the only washable parts are : the filter and the fluffy brush. Wash only with cold water. NOT WASH ELECTRIC PARTS. I think she didn’t catch the message.
you aren’t even supposed to wash the dust bin, only clean with a damp cloth. Then people says that dyson is shit and don’t last long, when they are the first to don’t know how to keep it .

My asian grandmother said that the kitchen sink is only for food related activities.
We use the bathroom to clean all stuff non food related.
I think all asian grandparents and most asian parents keep kitchen sink sacred for food only

Your not supposed to submerge the dyson parts in water it will destroy it look at the manual it will tell you how to clean it.

Yeah...so that grey tube inside yr floor attachment has the motor and the bearings that spin the brush head. You don't wanna soak that because you'll kill the motor inside. Even if it works fine now- I would try to get a new brush head if it's still under warranty. The one that got wet will die on you sooner than expected and at least you'll be ready when it does. Also, try to get most of it clean with compressed air and a dry brush as opposed to soaking it in wash water. Why take the risk if you don't need it? A can of compressed air or even a blow dryer can clean it very well with a detailing brush or two. 😊
