Love these little videos where you tell stories as you stroll the streets. Hope you and your mother and the rest of your family are all well Gabe after everything that’s happened lately.

Camped here in the 1970s with my dear parents. Thanks for taking me back to the Rockies, Gabe.

Welcome back Travelin' Man. Lovely to see those beautiful snow-capped mountains surrounding Banff. Such a contrast to our himid, hot weather in Qld Australia at the moment. Looking forward to tomorrow's snowy video 😊

Banff is one of my favorite places. First time visiting was as a small child in 1968. We travel from Winnipeg to Banff once or twice a year. Not all hotels charge extra for parking. High Country, Irwins and Red Carpet have never charged extra for parking or WiFi. My favorite pizza in Banff is Aardvarks. Love your videos!

I drove across Canada twice. Montreal - Vancouver and Quebec City - Vancouver. The second time I did it, I remember vividly arriving into Banff, going up Tunnel Mountain to my campsite and as soon as I got out of the car, I got hit by the refreshing smell of pine trees. Banff is easily my favourite place in the Canadian Rockies for many other reasons.

Wow, beautiful. Everything reminds me of my hometown in northern Sweden, except that everything in nature is greater, bigger and more beautiful. The parking fee and liquor store same as here too. 🙂

Dear Gabe, there is "Banff Sunshine Village" ski resort nearby and seeing you ski one handed is always fun hint hint!

I was there earlier this year, I just left Jasper the day before the fires started which was pretty crazy! I hope the recovery there is going well. Those prices are dirt cheap compared to what it is in summer which is 4-5X what you paid, I stayed in Canmore in a hostel and it was still expensive.

In Ontario and Quebec you can buy beer and wine in grocery stores and convenience stores. But, you still need to go to a liquor store for spirits. I believe the liquor stores in Alberta are privately owned, whereas in every other province they're owned and operated by the provincial government.
