Is a pneumatic dremel needed you reckon? Is a lowergrade battery dremel strong enough?

I would guess that this same burr and technique can be applied to a heart shaped candy dish. Think Cherry about 1-1/2 to 2 inches thick and about 8 inches wide. your thoughts?
