In this video, I go over how to prevent sublimation ghosting on fabric. This is a great sublimation tip for beginners and experienced crafters and business owners in the sublimation field!

I use this technique when I’m printing my light fabrics for my scrunchies, scrunchie wrist totes, my scrunchie key chains, as well as a bunch of other products that I make with my satin fabric.

I hope this sublimation tip helps you to get that perfect pressed image every time!

You saved my sanity! I've gone through almost a dozen tote bags using spray adhesive and heat tape, and every single one had ghosting! Your method is SO simple, and uses so much less tape and adhesive. Thank you so much!!!

You are my HERO!!! I have been fighting with some garden flag and this did the trick. I still used spray to adhere the print to the flag, but your tape method saved me!!! Thank you so much!

You are brilliant!!! This worked. I modified it a little by just taping the transfer paper directly to the dover sheet. It was just a little faster and easier. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome tip!!!

What about with stretch knit fabrics? I have to put the tape on the fabric or it won't stay. I will say that I had better results putting the heat tape on the fabric perpendicular to the edges vs parallel to the edges.
