I've driven the 1.5 petrol from work, fantastic car!

Whilst it might not feel "fun to drive", it destroyed the golf in the moose test. The Scala did it at 79kph where as the golf did it at 69 or low 70s.

well it is based on MQB A0 which is the same as the ibiza and polo, so it technically won't be going up against the golf, or leon.

Does it have a high driving position? As I understand tge Kamiq has a very low driving position.

It's not as wide as the Golf sitting in the front because the Octavia is the Golf rival, same basic size, construction and engines, but with an extended boot.

Scala is based on Polo chassis, it is not Astra, Golf, Focus, Megane competitor. E.g. Megane is 9cm wider!! Emotions are fine but some frame of facts is needed :-)
