I’m surprised he still has his camera lol let me just say there are thieves who take advantage of visitors everywhere especially in populated cities it’s nice a calm for the most part. Just don’t be showing off your camera to wrong people with short temper. Be careful. Welcome to Kazakhstan.

I am a student there and I suggest that you can choose the bus ..it is cheap and easy to use..to can use the onay app to track the bus and the bus number as well as route..

If you’re going to take a taxi, just use Yandex. Never accept an offer from strangers, believe they’re not genuine, no one is that genuine to strangers. The city is beautiful but just be aware it’s not all lovely.
