My complaints about the steamdeck

The only time you need to press steam and x to bring up The keyboard is in gaming mode. Pressing X in desktop mode will bring the keyboard up.

This is what happens when you use devices for uses whey weren’t designed for. If I try to connect a steering wheel to my Samsung Smart Fridge, I’m probably not going to have a very good time doing so.

1- That's what the dock is for
2- If windows kills performance, then its not good for gaming anyway
3- There are many ways to set it up so that it comes up every time, but how does pushing two buttons on a gaming controller constitute an annoyance? Your hands should already be in place for that, even. It's more annoying to choose to switch to touching and back, so why do that when you can just use the trackpad?

#1. I got a dock for $30 on amazon with an ethernet port and 2 usbs. #2. If linux runs better then there’s no need for windows. #3. I don’t know if it’s just a feature they added but I only need to press the X button and my keyboard shows up on desktop mode
