can someone explain to me why you need to do a win lay bet and a place lay bet and what the difference is? because from what i understand you will do a back ur bet for the horse to come 1st-4th and a lay bet for the hourse not to come into the top 3 so if the hourse comes 4th both bets will pay out which is what the aim is here, so why the need for the place bet? what is the place bet doing and how is it helping? im new place betting would like some advice, cheers in advance.

Good video. When doing the extra places, you get races where they offer multiple extra places. This also applies to golf as well (some bookies paid 10 places on the masters for example). I would have thought you need less rating for these as your horse/golfer could finish in any of the places and profit. Would be good to know what you think on this. 👍. Keep up the good work.

The Implied Odds are more crucial than the percentage. They must be over 20 minimum

Doesn’t seem like a lot of profit for the effort? How many horses were on your spreadsheet and only £136 profit? Am I missing something?
