The ping is the most effective way to switch the point of attack but it is also the pass that is least widely well known. Anybody can play a good long ball and side footed pass but it takes a different kind of player altogether to take the time, energy and effort to master the ping, zing and grass cutter.

a driven pass is ping..what that means is its like youre striking the ball (as in shooting it) with the instep and the ball does not have a very high arch but is more flat and pacy...that sums it up nicely i think
