I am a huge fan of the smaller ships and how intimate they are! Let's explore the common areas, food venues, and outdoor spaces on Royal Caribbean's first Voyager Class ship, the Voyager of the Seas.

She was my first Royal Caribbean cruise in 2005, and she changed everything! For me, it’s been Royal ever since. Will always have a special place in my heart. A great ship!

By far the best tour on YouTube! Love that you didn’t say cheesy things, love how you just did a plain cruise tour. A+!

Great video! We were on this trip and I saw you filming this day. I can just barely see us lounging by the pool. My 7 year old loved seeing himself in a real YouTube video, lol.

Voyager holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been on her four times and got my first C&A block on her. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for showing us this vintage ship, Brandon! I truly prefer the over-20-year-old ships in the major fleets. Circa minute 13:00: one of the key advantages is that there is plenty of space per passenger and much less crowding, no/shorter queues, and no need for reservations for shows. It was beautiful to see the busiest restaurant (buffet--deck) looking nearly empty when you did this part of the tour. By contrast, very large ships (even as old as Independence of the Seas) with 4, 000 to 4, 999 passengers are easily too busy. Sometimes, the staff has to make public announcements in the Windjammer asking those that have finished their breakfast to leave to make room for incoming guests! I had never experienced such a thing in my previous nearly 30 years of cruises. It felt so strange also to read/hear about having to make reservations for shows on ships with over 4, 000 passengers. All the ones with fewer than 3, 000 passengers never have this problem.

Nice job pointing out some of the differences in Voyager and the other ships in class. We have sailed Mariner many times, going on Voyager next month for first time.

Just got off Explorer of the Seas, (met Super Mario on it, I’m sure you’ve met him), and that ship looks just like this ship you’re on and my home West Coast ship, Navigators of the Seas. I do like this class of ships. Navigator is still my favorite because it has that jazz, salsa bar next to the casino, which was missing on Explorer.

I'm doing a transatlantic on the Voyager in May - I booked a Promenade-view interior room. That was the same room category I booked on my first-ever RC cruise, on the Navigator, back in 2018. I feel like our travel lives are almost in synch right now, because I also booked one of the Single Occupancy Studios on the Celebrity Silhouette for a cruise this October - I watched your video review of that room!

On Voyager for the first time this year, but have been on her slightly larger cousins Liberty and Freedom. Having sailed on newer ships the last few years, such as Symphony and Odyssey, I'm looking forward to a little more old school Crown and Anchor experiences.

Nice ship tour! We are going on Rhapsody OFS. this Sunday.. 1st RCL cruise.. Do you prefer older ships or the newer? Or is it more the destination.. I understand the ‘weekend getaway’ jam though 😎
