I'm finally doing it. A shop tour of my woodworking shop that I've been working out of for the last 6 years. This tour includes my lumber storage that was inspired by Marc Spagnuolo of The Wood Whisperer, and my workbench that was based off of Johnny Brooke of Crafted Workshop. I saw these air tool connectors on a video and forgot where. I saw that you have them in your shop tour but you don't list them in your tools and supply list for the video. Could you supply the link or where you picked them up from? Thanks so much and I enjoy your videos and easy to understand explanations.

If you want to improve the cfm of your dust collection, which means better dust collection from each piece of equipment, get rid of all that flexible hose on your cyclone dust collector. Lots of vacuum drop due to the spiral hose VS a smooth pipe. Since the collector is on wheels and can be moved anywhere, shorten the hose to 5, or if you have to, 10', and the cfm draw on the equipment will improve, which will not only improve equipment dust collection, but air quality in your shop.

Always love a shop tour, yours was great. Yea the dog holes in the workbench sounds like a great idea, but it’s not. I used my CNC to make mine and hated it. Ended up replacing it with BB and much better. I have 1545 extrusion on the perimeter and this gives me enough clamping options I don’t miss them one bit.

Love how you are organized, but not super anal about openning draws slowly as to not disturb items in pictures purfect arrangement, in other word not a trophy display! my kind of shop!

What’s great run through of such a well organized space! As you’ve run the OneFinity CNC for a while on top of your torsion box top table, would you have changed anything on the table dimensions, such as the 42x50” top? (Wondering what the finished height of the table)

Great shop! A lot of stuff in your space and laid out well. I do like your beginning attitude of buying the best right out of the gate. I did not do that. And lessons were definitely learned. But I would have done better if I had skipped some pieces. LOL. I didn’t think about it till I saw a comment. No miter saw? Interesting. I had a huge miter station I built. Recently I dismantled it and my husband took it to the garage. I had intentions of building a new one and hurt my back. So I wasn’t able to. It has been several months since then and I have had my miter saw sitting to the side and haven’t used it once. There are so many other ways to get things done that I haven’t used it. I am rethinking what I’ll be building.

Thank you for the shop tour. My Garage, my tool layout and the tools I have are almost the same as your shop. LOL. if you walked in my shop you would know where everything is. I also have the onefnity woodworker and in the same location in my garage. I feel like I am doing something right seeing your layout. LOL

Nice shop! I’m upgrading my 2 car garage workshop and my next purchase is a sawstop, but the problem is the workbench that came with the house is too big. I also share the garage with a car and washer/dryer, so everything must be mobile. Seeing your shop gave me some ideas. Thanks!
